Watoga has a newly renovated 11 acre lake for fishing, boating or paddle boats. You can also find a swimming pool, picnic shelter, recreation center, a resident naturalist, the Ann Bailey Lookout Tower, and countless hiking trails.
Game Court and Recreation Building
Located near the swimming pool, this area features tennis, basketball, shuffleboard, croquet, badminton, volley ball, horseshoes and ping pong. Play ground equipment is also provided as well as both camp grounds.
Horseback Riding
Watoga’s Jadalee Stables are open from late May through mid-September. Guided trail rides are offered along with pone rides for the younger children.
Swimming Pool
Watoga’s swimming pool is open from Memorial Day until Labor day.
Naturalist Program
A naturalist plans and conducts activities and events to help familiarize quests with the flora and fauna surrounding them at the park. This seasonal nature/recreation program consists of slide shows and hikes, athletic events,campfires and other activities to acquaint you not only with Watoga, but other guests as well.
Boating
Watoga has an 11 acres stocked fishing lake where you can rent paddle and row boats. On the lake, you can relax in the cool breezes or do some fishing.
Trails
Watoga has countless hiking trails ranging from 2 mile to 6 miles. All through the woods and mountains. Watoga State Park is a wonderful experience.

It provides you with more than 10,000 acres of recreation and woodlands for visitors far and near.
